Broward County City Guide

Broward County City Guide adheres to specific guidelines for listing URLs for other web sites in its online directory. Due to the heavy volume of correspondence (i.e. mail, email, form submissions, etc.) along with our guidelines and procedures for posting, many listings can take as long as a month to appear on the site. For this reason Broward County City Guide has established a series of express services for URL submissions.

The Broward County City Guide guidelines and procedures involve the following:

Complete review of the information submitted on the Add URL Form.
Manual verification of the web site and the majority of its links to ensure that the site is not a portal to unacceptable sites.

Our definition of unacceptable sites include, but is not limited to:

Pornography or profanity.
Sites that encourage hate crimes based on ethnicity, religion, culture, sexual preference, etc.
Unethical portals, or sites that deceive or redirect to unacceptable sites.
Sites designed to strictly harvest information for spamming purposes or other illegal uses.
Any site that advertises, displays, redirects or encourages any type of illegal activity.

Verification of listing category.
Compilation and submission to data entry.
Data entry completion and upload to server during scheduled upload.
